Spectroscopic and thermodynamic study of charge transfer interaction of doxycycline hydrochloride with riboflavin in aqua
Article Abstract:
Spectroscopic and thermodynamic study of doxycycline hydrochloride is shown to form charge transfer (CT) complexes with a number of electron acceptors in aqueous ethanol medium. The enthalpy and entropy of formation of the complex between riboflavin and doxycycline hydrochloride is determined by estimating the formation constant spectrophotometrically at five different temperatures in pure water.

Evidence of reverse micellization of a calyx[4]arene through a study of its charge transfer and host-guest complexation with [60] fullerene
Article Abstract:
The reverse micelles in CCl4 and n-hexane media formed by 25,27-dihydroxy-26,28-dimethoxycalix[4]arene is established UV-vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. The results obtained by utilizing the spectral variation of the [60]fullerene.1 complex in CCl4 as the continuos medium with change in omega is presented.
