Diffraction-limited photogeneration and characterization of silver nanoparticles
Article Abstract:
A method used to create strong luminescent, diffraction-limited clusters of small, stable sliver nanoparticles using a conventional confocal microscope setup is discussed. The distribution of silver nanoparticles is likely to contain predominantly very small particles with radii on the order to a few nanometers.

Silver nanoplates: size control in two dimensions and formation mechanisms
Article Abstract:
The methods for the synthesis of silver nanoplates with sizes of 40-300 nm are presented. This is done by a simple room-temperature solution-phase chemical reduction method in the presence of diluted cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB).
