Structural investigation of vanadyl-acetylacetonate-containing precursors of TiO(sub x)-V)(sub x) mixed oxides on SBA-15
Article Abstract:
The investigation of the interactions between the V- and Ti-containing centers and/or the OH of water or the silica support with the emphasis on the use of electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy is reported. The local environment of the VO(super 2+) complexes in the noncalcined precursors of the TiO(sub x)-VO(Sub x)SBA-15 mixed-oxide catalysts is studied by means of continuous wave and pulse EPR spectroscopy.

Synthesis and electrochemical properties of vanadium pentoxide nanotube arrays
Article Abstract:
Synthesis of nanotube arrays of amorphous vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) was done via template-based electrodeposition and its electrochemical properties were investigated for Li-ion interaction applications. Electrochemical analysis demonstrates that the V2O5 nanotube array delivers a high initial capacity of 300mAh/g, which is about twice that of the electrochemically prepared V2O5 film.
