Study of weak molecular interactions through thermodynamic mixing properties
Article Abstract:
The electron-donor abilities of some cyclic ethers, benzene and halobenzenes and the molecular interactions between these compounds was investigated through a wide set of thermodynamic properties of their mixtures. The differences in electron donor ability if the cyclic ether was systemized and the extent of modification in the acceptor electron character of both the aromatic ring and the halogen atom were determined.

Surface behavior of the 1-bromobutane with isomeric butanol mixtures
Article Abstract:
Surface tensions of the 1-bromobutane with isomeric butanol mixtures are measured in the temperature range 283.15K to 313.15 K with a drop volume tensiometer, and the corresponding surface tension deviations are calculated. Using this information together with bulk thermodynamic properties a thermodynamic study on surface formation is presented.

Phase equilibrium of binary mixtures of cyclic ethersChlorobuatne isomers: Experimental measurements and SAFT-VR modeling
Article Abstract:
The phase equilibria of eight binary mixtures each formed by a cyclic ether and chlorobutane isomer are described. The SAFT-VR approach predicts the phase equilibrium of the mixtures but fails to predict the azeotropic behavior exhibited by some of the mixtures.
