Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy study of a hydrogen electrode reaction at a Zn electrode in a molten LiCl-KCl-LiH system
Article Abstract:
The hydrogen electrode reaction involving hydride ion, at a Zn electrode is investigated in a molten LiCl-KCl-LiH system at 673 K. The results indicate that j0 and beta are obtained from In r(sub ct)-eta plots and Inj0-C(sub H-) plot independently gives beta with the impedance plots indicating the existence of adsorbed hydrogen atoms on the Zn electrode.

Mossbauer characterization and in situ monitoring of thermal decomposition of potassium ferrate(VI), [K.sub.2]Fe[O.sub.4] in static air conditions
Article Abstract:
Mossbauer spectroscopy was applied to study the crystalline structure of potassium ferrate. The spectroscopic data was found to be consistent with the thermogravimetric data and carbondioxide-decomposition intermediates obtained.
