Understanding of the high hydrothermal stability of the mesoporous materials prepared by the assembly of triblock copolymer with preformed zeolite precursors in acidic media
Article Abstract:
A study done where a new mesoporous pure silica-denoted as MPS-9 is prepared using preformed Silicalite-I nanoclusters as the precursor to assemble with a copolymer surfactant under strong acidic conditions. By comparing MPS-9 with other mesoporous materials, it is proved that the high hydrothermal stability of mesoporous aluminum silicates (MAS-9, MAS-7) and titanium silicates is mainly due to the presence of heteroatoms, although thicker walls, a disordered structure, the salt effect and zeolite like connectivity also have important roles.

A novel method for incorporation of heteroatoms into the framework of ordered mesoporous silica materials synthesized in strong acidic media
Article Abstract:
Al and Ti into the framework of ordered mesoporpous silica materials in strong acidic media in the presence of triblock polymer template, resulting in the formation of mesoporous aluminosilicate (MAS-7) and mesoporous titanosilicate (MTS-9) is introduced. The results of the catalytic tests show that MAS-7 gives higher catalytic activity in the crackings of cumene and 1,3,5-triisopropylbenzene than Al-SBA-15, and MTS-9 provides higher catalytic activity in phenol hydroxylation by H2O2 than Ti-SBA-15.

Synthesis, characterization, and catalytic activity of mesostructured titanosilicates assembled from polymer surfactants with performed titanosilicate precursors in strongly acidic media
Article Abstract:
The mesostructured titanosilicates designated as MTS-9 are successfully synthesized from assembly of performed nanosized titanosilicate precursors with polymer surfactants. It was found that the titanium species in MTS-9 are like TS-1 and the pore walls of MTS-9 contains primary and secondary building units.
