Uniform approach to bacteriochlorophyll-based monolayers on conducting, semiconducting, and insulating substrates
Article Abstract:
A study uses a general approach to demonstrate the formation of monolayers comprised of free-base and metalated bacteriochlorophyll-based derivatives for examining the photosynthetic motifs and chromophore thin-film interactions. The monolayers are found to retain the optical features typical for the new systems in solutions.
