Vertically aligned sulfur-doped ZnO nanowires synthesized via chemical vapor deposition
Article Abstract:
The synthesis of a vertically aligned sulfur (S)-doped zinc oxide (ZnO) nanowire array via chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of Zn and S powders at a low temperature, 500 degrees C, is presented. The photoluminescence and cathodoluminescence of S-doped ZnO nanowires exhibit a significantly green emissions band that comes from the S-doped surface region of the nanowires.

Comparative structure and optical properties of Ga-, In-, and Sn-doped ZnO nanowires synthesized via thermal evaporation
Article Abstract:
ZnO nanowires doped with a high concentration Ga, In and Sn are synthesized through thermal evaporations. The absorption and photoluminescence of Sn-doped ZnO nanowires shift to the lower energy region than those of In- and Ga-doped nanowires due to the larger charge density of Sn.
