Article Abstract:
A comprehensive chronicle of the coupling reactions of oxiranes and carbon dioxide catalyzed by salicylaldiminte (salen)-metal derivatives in the presence of appropriate cocatalysts are presented. Thorough and unifying discussion of the mechanistic aspects of these processes is also presented.
