The baeyer-villiger reaction: new developments towards greener procedures
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to illustrate the baeyer-village (BV) reaction using hydrogen peroxide as well as to identify the ways in which a catalyst might improve the reaction. Reactions catalyzed by homogeneous catalysts, biocatalysts and heterogeneous catalysts are discussed.
