Software Artistry comes into Tivoli's fold
Article Abstract:
Software Artistry Inc has been acquired by Tivoli Systems Inc for $200 million. The sale will allow Tivoli to integrate Software Artistry's help- desk software technology into its TME10 systems management products. However, Tivoli officials say the acquisition does not mean the company will not pursue integration efforts with competing help-desk software. They add that the deal strengthens the TME10 framework to include network management, asset management and change management features.
