Compact NEC projectors blend brightness, clarity, with easy operability

NEC Home Electronics Ltd's VL-830, VL-1035, VL-1030 and VL-MB1000 projectors combine compact, lightweight design with fine picture quality, easy operability and superior brightness. The VL-1030, VL-830 and VL-1035 models utilize a newly developed resolution conversion technology, called Advanced AccuBlend, to ensure presentation of easy-to-see images without distortion or breaks. The VL-MB1000 projector, which measures 340mm X 250mm X 142mm and consumes 400W, uses a single-chip Digital Light Processing system from Texas Instruments Inc.

Mitsubishi Electronics America Inc's (Mitsubishi Display Products) S120 LCD projector, which weighs approximately 4.5kg, employs three active- matrix, polysilicon LCD panels to produce an XGA resolution with 1,024 X 768 dots, or an SVGA resolution with 800 X 600 dots. Featuring a built-in laser pointer on the wireless remote controller, S120 is capable of scanning frequencies from 50 to 85Hz vertically and from 15 to 82Kh horizontally.
