ECR, POS terminals tackle euro currency, millenium bug: UX-7500

Uniwell Corp. releases the top-of-the-line UX-7500 electronic cash register (ECR) and point-of-sale (POS) terminal that can conduct business in euro currency and provides measures to tackle the year 2000 data confusion. The UX-7500, which incorporates a wide 16-line LCD, is ideal for restaurants and related businesses. Aside from using a single-station thermal printer, the product allows customers to program a flexible memory allocation system. The UX-7500 also features a multiple-access kitchen printer, floating billing systems, floating server systems, flash reports and scanning capabilities.

Uniwell Corp. rolls out the UX-45F electronic cash register and point-of-sale (POS) terminal that can be used in the euro currency system and offers measures to address the year 2000 data confusion problem. The product, which is ideal to be used in the hospitality industry, is available with a single-station thermal printer. The UX-45F also uses a two-line display, RS-232C and RS-485 interfaces, which allow connection to networks, computers and other systems. The model also features floating servers, floating bill, item transfers, scanning functions and scrolling displays.

Uniwell Corp. comes out with its new UX-60-05 and the UX-70-05 electronic cash register (ECR) and point-of-sale (POS) terminals that can do business in euro currency and feature measures on how to deal with the year 2000 computer problem. The UX-60-05 and the UX-70-05 ECR and POS terminals are ideal in retail operations such as medium-sized and big supermarkets. They also function with special programming to do stock control and have the capability to issue flash reports. The UX-60-05 is available with a dot-matrix printer, while the UX-70-05 uses a thermal printer.
