Epson: full-featured mobile 3-LCD projector packs power into 0.9-inch panels

Epson America Inc. offers the 9.4-pound PowerLite 5500C Super VGA data projector that features Seiko Epson Corp.'s 0.9-inch polysilicon LCDs. The product delivers 650 lumens using 120W Ultra High Efficiency lamp, with each panel utilizing 480,000 pixels for a total of 1.4 million pixels in a stripe management. Its features include a 95% illumination ratio, RGB video signals from personal computers, and other video signals. The PowerLite 5500C projector functions with Super VGA images, Expanded VGA, VGA and XGA modes.

Epson's ultra-portable data projectors dazzle visitors at Infocomm

Epson America Inc has introduced its latest lineup of projectors which includes three portable and two ultra-portable models. The PowerLite 7350 and PowerLite 5350 potable models delivers 1,500 ANSI lumens while 7250 offers 1,300 lumens. The 5350 models offers true SVGA (800 x 600) native resolution while the 7350 and 7250 offers XGA 1,024 x 720-pixel resolution. The 9-lb ultraportable PowerLite 5500C and 7550C feature Sizewise technology with 95% illumination and 300:1 contrast ratios.

Seiko Epson Corp has introduced the ELP-9000 LCD projector. The model employs a 220W UHE lamp to deliver a 1,700-lumen (ANSI) brightness and conforms to real SXGA resolution. It features a newly developed 1.3-inch high definition polysilicon TFT LCD panels carrying 1,366 x 1,024 pixels. The company also integrated its microlens array technology to give the product advanced brightness and resolution features.
