How to Customize Your OA Workstation
Article Abstract:
The utilization of automated office equipment by professionals and management may be influenced by several factors. The professional's office may not have the required power supply or proper lighting for video display. Terminals may be placed on managers desks, causing physical strain and occupying valuable work space. Shared equipment may be too far away to encourage use. The professional may be inhibited in using shared equipment because of a status concern by both the professional and clerical personnel. Layouts for four levels of personnel are shown.
