TFT, DSTN LCD monitors save energy, space on office desktops
Article Abstract:
Sanyo Electric Co Ltd has introduced five computer monitor models based on LCD technology. With screen sizes ranging from 12.1 to 15.0 inches, the monitors save space that is increasingly becoming precious in today's offices. Moreover, LCD monitors have much lower power consumption than conventional CRT monitors. A 15-inch Sanyo LCD, for instance, consumes only one-third the power of a 17-inch CRT.
