New Microimage Terminal Automates Retrieval of Document Images and Information Stored on Microfilm

Eastman Kodak introduced the IMT-250, a microimage terminal. Designed as a stand-alone, it can be linked to a system. The IMT-20 automates the information retrieval of items stored on microfilm. The IMT-20 features a full-function keyboard, on-board microprocessor, LED display, three applications programs and one user-programmable program. A photograph of the terminal is included.

IBM Releases Statement of Direction Concerning Its Local Area Networks
Article Abstract:
IBM has announced its plan to connect its PC Network and a token-bus industrial network to its token-ring local area network. The planned LAN will be built on the IBM Cabling System. A technical manual, the PC Network Reference Manual, provides data for custom designed networks linking 1,000 PCs.
