NEC Ltd of Japan has introduced its LT-series of projectors. The projectors have a CompactFlash card slot which allows users to download images, audio and other information to a CompactFlash card. The LT-series projectors uses the Digital Light Processing System to cast images in resolutions with up to 1,280 x 1,024 dots, and features a two-way keystone compensation function for automatic adjustmebt of image with 15 degrees of the tilt angle to display a square image. The series is available in the LT140J and LT84J models.

Nippon Avionics Co Ltd of Japan has launched its MP-Series multimedia projectors. The series features an optical system that employs light separation by dichroic mirror and light composition by cross prism. The MP-250E offers maximum brightness of 1,100 ANSI lumens, delivers SVGA resolution and handles compressed XGA images. The MP-300E delivers XGA resolution and luminance of 1,200 ANSI lumens. It also handles compressed SXGA images.
