Pathlore Software Corp of Columbus, OH, has released the version 3.0 of its Phoenix for Networks computer-based training software. The integrated suite covers course authoring, content management, delivery, testing and administration. Release 3.0 is composed of three components - Phoenix Administrator, Phoenix Author and Phoenix Desktop. Phoenix for Networks is currently avaiable for NT platform, and will be available for Unix, Apache and Netscape Webservers in the 3rd qtr 1999.

Platinum AutoAnswer includes Web-based tools

Platinum Technology Inc has launched a new product called Platinum AutoAnswer which integrates call-center management features to its problem resolution technology, previously available in the Platinum Apriori product. AutoAnswer provides Web-based access to call managemment functions for help-desk personnel. The source code rights to call-center technology was bought by Platinum from Fremont, CA-based Quintus Corp.
