Thermal Color Transfer for Hard-Copy Reproduction
Article Abstract:
Thermal transfer color printers are used to produce hard copies. These printers are inexpensive, reliable and produce high-quality copies. They use successive dot printing, successive line printing or successive plane printing to record color. Thermal transfer printing is also used to produce multiple-color reproduction and tones. These printers can be used for computer graphics, CAD- CAM applications and electronic images. There are diagrams to illustrate the thermal printing method.
