Uniwell Corp of Japan has launched its new lineup of mid-range and high- end electronic cash registers (ECRs) and point-of-sale (POS) terminals. The SX-330 series of ECRs features two-line interfaces and RS-232 and RS- 485 standard interfaces, and works with 752 price look-up codes up to 5,570 PLU codes. The touchscreen TX-850 ECR features a 10-4-in double super-twisted nematic LCD, a two-line dot-matrix rear display and one RS- 485 and three RS-232C standard interfaces. The RX-950 touch-screen computer POS terminal also features the 10.4-in DSTN color display and runs on Touch MS software.
