Versatility gives BMC's point-of-sale equipment access to diverse business circles
Article Abstract:
BMC International has launched its new lineup of electronic cash registers (ECRs) and point-of-sale (POS) systems. The BMC2010 can handle 10 departments and 3,500 price lookup (PLU) codes, and includes an all-in-one thermal printer. The PS2000 Plus ECR features a nine-pin serial dot-matrix printer and can handle check printing, 40 departments and 20,000 pls codes. The BMC4000 features a two-station thermal line printer that integrates the Panasonic EPL 170s3 printer head, while the CR280 Plus ECR covers 16 departments and as a nine-port pin for communicating with personal computers.
