WP Speeds Judicial Process
Article Abstract:
The District Attorney's office for Riverside County in Southern California has begun to use minicomputers to speed the workload. Time restrictions on complaint requests and distance between cities in the jurisdiction have been virtually overcome by implementing a minicomputer-based text editing system with facsimile, the Word-II from Data Processing Design of Placentia, California. 'The system uses the DEC's PDP-II and VAX minicomputers.
