E-commerce set to grow exponentially in retail energy

Atlanta, GA-based publishing firm Chartwell Inc's latest study indicates that electronic commerce within the energy industry will likely take off in 2000. The study found that 50% of US electricity and natural gas providers will offer different Internet-based customer services by 2001 because of regulatory changes and competition. Many of the firms are looking to establish their niches in the newly structured energy marketplace.

Florida school learns that teachers' quotes draw donors
Article Abstract:
The marketing strategy used by Florida based One to One Gulfcoast, a direct marketing firm, in fundraising campaign of Out-of-door Academy, a private school is discussed. The firm used quotes from child's teachers in the mailers to parents, giving it a personalized look. The effort paid off.
