EBay to enforce ban on trading of racist artifacts
Article Abstract:
EBay Inc will begin enforcing a worldwide ban on trading items that use images or language depicting sentiments of Nazi Germany or organizations such as Ku Klux Klan, starting May 2001. This policy was created after the Web0based firm faced pressure from French and US activists who called for a ban on Nazi materials. However, the online auction frim will make some exceptions, including stamps and coins that involve Germany in the late 1930s and 1940s.
