Green Culture, an Aliso Viejo, CA-based manufacturer of environmentally friendly products is launching the Conserving-water.com site that will offer water conservation products such as rain barrels, rain gauges and lawn water gauges. The rollout of the Web site follows Green Culture's previous rollout of the Eco-furniture.com, which offers furniture for living rooms, sunrooms, home offices, lawns and gardens. The company operates another Web site, Composters.com, where it sells compost bins and other garden supplies.

Some printers still cast wary eye at the Web

The Internet-based print market is characterized by uncertainty. Stock prices plummeted for some online print dot-coms. There is a backlash amng printers toward e-commerce since some corporate buyers insist on the incorporation of a standard technology or protocol language used by their print portal. In resposnse to network protocol differences existing among print-based online companies, online industry members have launched PrintTalk, an association for e-commerce print software developers.
