Article Abstract:
Architectural firm Conservation Practice has faced significant challenges with its design for the conversion of the 170-year-old market hall in Hove, England, into a recording studio and rehearsal and concert facility for classical orchestra the Hanover Band. It has been necessary to make significant changes to the original building, which is grade-II listed, but care has been taken to retain significant aspects of each of the different uses to which the building has been put throughout its history.
