Article Abstract:
The income of home-school parents, which has been boosted by online sales, has reached $600 million in 1999. The success is also attributable to the increasing acceptance of home schooled families as an alternative to public and private education. Previously, alternative textbook vendors and parents had to go to state home-school meetings to sell and brand their company's name and products before they discovered the benefits of Web sites.
