TBM tunnels completed on CTRL2
Article Abstract:
The first section of London's high-speed rail tunnels for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) Section 2 north of the River Thames was completed safely ahead of schedule. The Wirth Tunnel Boring Machine's (TBM) journeys started at Stratford driving under the Great Eastern line and London Underground's Central Line Tunnels.

Trials and tribulations for Arrowhead
Article Abstract:
The Arrowhead tunnel project was started in 1997 from City Creek driving west to the strawberry Portal. The project was plagued due to fire, flood, mudslides and many other disasters that hit the tunnel.
