FedEx debuts home delivery

Federal Express Corp will launch its new service, the FedEx Home Delivery on Mar 14, 2000. Its new service, a ground service, will enable it to compete with major ground carriers such as United Parcel Service. It will target business-to-consumer shippers and will be managed from the FedEx Ground operational network while using FedEx Ground for its pickup and package sorting.
