Conseco Direct Life, a Philadelphia, PA-based insurance firm, is testing a new noncelebrity direct mail package that will be sent to consumers age 50 and above. The firm may utilize various types of TV ads depending on its campaign's response rates. Conseco has been effecting for the last six years its DRTV commercials promoting its Modified Whole Life Insurance plan and featuring celebrities that include Alex Trebek.
