1990-94 Eagle Talon
Article Abstract:
The 1990-1994 Eagle Talons are similar in appearance and mechanical details to the Mitsubishi Eclipse and Plymouth Laser. This generation offers three performance levels, namely two front-wheel drive and one four-wheel drive. Their engines provide plenty of power, but the turbocharged versions suffer from front drive torque steer. TSi AWDs are among the most appealing performance cars of their era, with acceleration, handling, and road holding surpassing those of many full-bore, sports cars.

1993-96 Eagle Summit
Article Abstract:
The 1993-1996 Eagle Summit models are nearly identical to the Mitsubishi Mirage and Dodge/Plymouth Colt. Two-door notchback body styles replaced the prior hatchback versions and are augmented by four-door notchbacks. DL and ES editions of these models provide either of two engines, namely, a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder or optional 113-horsepower, 1.8-liter four. Five- speed manual shifting is standard, with three- or four-speed automatic transmissions being optional.

1995-98 Eagle Talon
Article Abstract:
The 1995-1998 Eagle Talon models feature stiffer body structures that make them feel more solid than before and provide better isolation from mechanical vibrations. These models are not considerably heavier than their predecessors and their performance is not noticeably better. These cars can be fun to drive, but so can many competing products. Nearly all of this generation's virtues can be found in several competing, similarly- priced sports coupes.
