1990-97 Ford Aerostar
Article Abstract:
Ford Motor Co's 1990-1997 Aerostar models feature four-wheel-drive systems and offer either 3.0-liter engines, which produce sufficient power, or 4.0-liter V-6 engines, which provide extra muscle. Either engine furnishes only roughly 15 mpg in city/suburban driving and little over 20 mpg on the highway. Traction can be a problem in rain or snow with rear-drive Aerostars. Ride quality is another drawback even with the long wheel base. Although these Aerostar models are stable and well controlled, their suspensions produce a rather harsh experience over bumps.
