1995-99 GEO/Chevrolet Metro
Article Abstract:
General Motors Corp's 1995-1999 GEO/Chevrolet Metro models are light and their light weight is clearly seen in the way these cars drive. Bumps jar the suspension and create kickback through the steering wheel. However, this generation of Metros are more composed on the road than its predecessors. Only the four-cylinder engine/manual shift combination provides suitable acceleration for both city and highway driving. Leg room is adequate and controls are easy to see and reach. Overall, the Metro outperforms Ford's Aspire in the minicar field.

1990-98 GEO/Chevrolet Tracker
Article Abstract:
General Motors Corp's 1990-1998 GEO/Chevrolet Tracker are tall and narrow. They must be driven with care through turns because of their high center of gravity. The initial 80-horsepower engine provides sufficient power for decent acceleration and passing on the two-door models. Trackers are appealing in many ways. Although more modern and refined than the paramilitary Wrangler vehicle, Trackers are just too rough and noisy to be used for service in daily driving.
