1997-99 Toyota Camry/Solara
Article Abstract:
The 1997-1999 Toyota Camry Solara models intially were offered in the four-door sedan body style in either the base CE, mid-range LE and top-of- the-line XLE trim levels. The coupe body style was later introduced in 1999. All editions have less wind and road noise than average. Suspensions absorb bumps and ruts easily while providing stable and comfortable rides. Cornering is marked by moderate body lean. The base engine is smooth and quiet for a four-cylinder and provides adequate acceleration even with automatic shift.

1994-99 Toyota Celica
Article Abstract:
The Toyota 1994-1999 Celicas excel in terms of handling, which is crisp, responsive and with fine grip in corners as well as minimal body lean. The stiff, optional Sports Package suspension provides a surprisingly supple ride while providing slightly improved cornering precision. Braking is good but could be better if more models carried anti-lock systems. Used car buyers seeking a fun, reliable, two-passenger car ought to test-drive a Celica even if its price may be high.
