Analogue or digital?
Article Abstract:
Digital AO or wide format photocopiers have greater capabilities than analogue machines. Some digital machines can be connected to a network, and have the capacity to send images between the scanner the computer aided design software and on to the plotter component of the copier. Before deciding what kind of machine to buy, users should evaluate their volume, the size of copies, image manipulation and frequency of use. Sometimes it is preferable to use a copyshop for special jobs and buy a medium-volume analogue machine for general copying.

The bigger difference
Article Abstract:
Wide format photocopiers, also called AO photocopiers, are wide machines which can produce copies of 914mm-1,000mm wide. Such machines have a different scanner and use different paper to standard office copiers. The scanner in an AO machines remains still and the original image is moved across the scanner. AO machines can use a multiple roll feed, a single roll feed or a manual feed.
