Article Abstract:

The amount of waste going to landfills in Australia could be cut to 15% of its present level through composting organic waste or recycling other materials. There are few large-scale facilities in Australia for composting kitchen waste, but backyard composting or worm farming would reduce the waste in landfills.

Article Abstract:

Six thermal-paper fax machines and five plain-paper models available in Australia were assessed for printing costs, text/picture quality, speed, ease of use and standby power. Prices ranged from $329 to $569. The Brother International Fax520MC, a thermal model, received the highest rating.
