A wide range of colour printers are available for use in the office and at home. Would-be purchasers are advised to consider a number of things such as volume throughput and output quality to select an appropriate machine. Laser printers are expensive to buy and run. Micro-dry printers use cartridges and coloured ribbons. They are less expensive to run than laser printers. Other technologies including inkjet machines are considered.
