Designs on digital
Article Abstract:
There are fewer digital A0 copiers than analogue models, but digital is expected to become the dominant technology. The two main types of digital A0 copiers are standalone and connected. The standalone models are base don analogue models and operate as copiers and not plotters or scanners. Connected models can operate as a printer/plotter and scanner, as well as a copier. Digital models offer added functionality rather than enhanced copy quality, but they do have a wider range of image manipulation features. However digital models start at 18,000 pounds sterling, although prices are falling.

Roll with it
Article Abstract:
A0 copiers are roughly divided into three categories, manual, single-roll and multiple-roll. Manual copiers are usually found at the low end of the market and are becoming increasingly rare, they usually cost from about 4,000 pounds sterling. Single-roll copiers are priced between 8,950 and 15,950, and contain a roll of media within the machine. Multiple-roll machines have two to four rolls of media, offering a choice of different paper sizes and media types. They cost between 12,000 and 100,000 pounds sterling.

Features run-down
Article Abstract:
A0 copiers include many standard features. Most use rolls of material to copy to and some enable the exact length required to be programmed. Bypass enables unusual materials to be copied on to and several machines have an emergency stop button if there are problems encountered during copying. Machines vary in first copy time between 18 seconds and one minute and they differ in where they deliver both the original and the copies. Advanced features include folders, continuous copy, job programs and partial copy.
