Article Abstract:

Household waste thrown out, as junk is potential hazard as more than five percent of the junk contains some materials that can harm the environment but neither the authorities nor the general public are aware of the multitude of hazards. A detailed list of all materials that are potential trouble-makers for the environment are presented along with suggestions of how one can get rid of them without damaging the environment.

The low fines which are imposed on water companies polluting waterways are an insufficient deterrent. Water companies often find it cheaper to pump out raw sewage and pay a fine than to deal with the sewage in a treatment plant.
