E-waste
Article Abstract:
The disposal of discarded electronic products is a problem in Australia and other countries because of the sheer volume of electronic waste, the inability to recover component materials and the presence of toxic substances. Product obsolescence and the costs of repairing products that break down are major factors in the problem. Ways that consumers can prevent waste are presented.
