Kids pay premium for England strip
Article Abstract:
The shoppers finding no difference in the price of a New England football shirt for a small child and adult which echo the classic kit worn by the England World Cup squad when it won the trophy in 1966 is reported. Sportswear giant Umbro said that the kit invoked a huge demand due to World Cup in Germany which sparked a price war between retailers trying to get a slice of the sales, and Umbro does not issue an official recommended retail price (RRP) for the kit, but leaves it to individual retailers to determine their own pricing.
