LCD projectors
Article Abstract:
Liquid crystal display (LCD) projectors have become increasingly popular as a presentation option, with advances in technology and their widespread availability resulting in lower prices. The two main types of LCD projectors are single-lens and polysilicon projectors, while a new option is digital technology. Single-panel LCD projectors are cheaper than polysilicon projectors but are weighty in comparison and the screen image is less bright than that offered by polysilicon equipment. The advantages and disadvantages of both types of projectors are detailed.
