Article Abstract:
The Department of Trade and Industry, UK has released chilling statistics that say that every year there are seven deaths due to unsafe products available in the market and regulating authorities cannot force manufacturers to recall these products from the market. The government is dragging its feet on plugging this loop-hole even as one reads about newer unsafe products being launched, some of them being children's toys, and it is time that serious action is taken before a major mishap claims many more lives.
