Article Abstract:

UK Midlands-based Duport Harper Foundries awarded its electrical supply upgrade to MEB Contracting in 1998. The 500,000 pounds sterling contract required electrical supply work to be undertaken while the iron foundry remained operational. Other challenging elements of the contract included the installation of new electrical supply equipment into an extremely small space with limited access and the segmentation of a moulding facility for safety reasons.

Productivity tests

Article Abstract:

A number of tests can be performed on photocopier machines to measure speed and productivity. Six tests designed to measure the productivity of copiers capable of producing up to ninety copies per minute are listed, together with three tests designed for copiers that produce over 90 copies per minute. Performance analysis for ten machines is given.

The number of bed-and-breakfast and country inns have gone up from 2,000 in 1980 to over 10,000, as more people live out their dream of owning one. Running them is not as easy as one may think though. One man describes his experience doing so for a weekend at the Waybury Inn in East Middlebury, VT.
