Sugar: no longer a bad guy?
Article Abstract:
New research indicates that sugar has a place in a healthy diet. Sugar does not cause heart disease, hyperactivity or diabetes, but it does contribute to tooth decay. Foods containing refined sugar are not necessarily the fastest to raise blood glucose levels. It is not clear whether cutting back on sugar will increase fat intake.
