Voice processing in cellular telephony
Article Abstract:
An increasing trend among cellular network operators is the provision of voice processing on their telephones. Users of cellular phones can program their handsets to divert incoming calls to their cellular voice box. Vodafone and Cellnet both offer voice messaging services on their networks, including international messaging. Costs for the services are expensive, with a subscription service charging some 5 pounds sterling a month, plus a small fee for retrieving messages.
