Article Abstract:
File infectors are one of three types of common computer viruses, others include macro viruses and system or boot-record infectors. Graham Cluley of Dr Solomon's anti-virus software manufacturer claims that there are 20,000 viruses in the world, with 500-550 new versions being released monthly. Reading E-Mails will not lead to infection from a virus, however, users must be wary of attachments which may activate a virus on being detached and opened.

Article Abstract:
Junk electronic mail (email), otherwise known as 'spam', is posted to unwitting email users on marketing mailing lists all over the world. Email is inexpensive in comparison to other forms of postal services. Some junk messages offer real value to the reader while others are encouraging illegal or illicit activities. E-mail users should avoid sending e-mail to newsgroups.
