Frontier 4.1: a computer program for Stochastic frontier production and cost function estimation
Article Abstract:
The Frontier 4.1 is a programming utility designed to make Stochastic frontier production and cost function estimations. This computer program is most useful to researchers who want to measure production and cost frontiers for they are spared from doing substantial programming in Fortran or GAUSS. However, the software has certain limitations such as its inability to estimate a frontier without a constant and the absence of data management facilites.
