A simple discrete-time approximation of continuous-time bubbles
Article Abstract:
Incomplete bursting bubbles, which are classified as rational bubbles, are utilized to analyze the relationship between Blanchard's bubbles and other complex types of bubbles. Such group of bubbles, aside from having three possible states, are highly associated with stochastic and periodically collapsing bubbles. They are found to be a simple discrete-time approximation of the continuous-time bubbles.
